Room 20
Room 20 have created a ‘Magical Birdland’ in the garden outside their classroom.
The sculpture is made up of a tui, a fantail, a morepork and a kiwi. The children were inspired by pictures of birds and felt amazed with what they could make.
The materials they used include pebbles, wood and paint. The birds are amongst native grasses and a small painted pebble pathway outside of Room 20. You can touch it but use Manaakitanga.
