Room 15

The title of Room 15’s sculpture is Aotearoa family. This sculpture can be found outside Mr Robinson’s office.

Room 15 wondered how they could design and make a sculpture that represented the diversity in their class. They found out that they could use a reclaimed corrugated iron template of New Zealand to show their country. The children took action by designing and making a pattern on foam rubber and backing it onto coloured corflute. These are bolted onto the template of Aotearoa. The metal is sharp so please do not touch it.
